TFC’s performing arm, The Southern Arizona Flute Orchestra (SAFO), is open to all member flutists. Prospective members and winter visitors to the area are welcome to participate in rehearsals for a limited time as well.

Rehearsals generally take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm, and are open to all members of the Club.  Please email us at TucsonFluteClub@gmail.com for information about the rehearsal location.  Participants are requested to bring their own music stands as well as their instruments. Music is provided. Voicing usually includes piccolo, C flute, alto (G) and bass flutes, as well as contrabass flute and subcontrabass flute.

TFC also encourages members to form their own small ensembles, and several have done so.
